Thanks to Nico, from Spanish City, for the youtube video with "someday", he catched the song from Spanish radio and shared it immediately!

Love Nico!

Nice song. How I love that guitar tone... he could just record 2 hours of noodling around with a Strat and I would buy it anytime...

But I still don't know where this song comes from - it is apparently on no album of JJ Cale, isn't it. So did MK write this song himself actually?
Kaleo, mentioning 41 years implies that you know where it is from? Same with the other MK tribute song btw.

Please enlight me!

Wow! That's a great tune!
Must be Cale-written though, it's totally his style

Wow, nobody comes closer to JJ Cales laid back style as Mark, ...but Marks guitar playing, and his touch is simply unbeatable...

Amazing. I will never ge tired of the thrill of hearing new stuff from MK.

Drum machine/loop is it?

Funny, the last two posts perfectly sum up what I thought this morning while listening.... the thrill EVERY time when a new MK tune shows up.. really exciting to listen to the latest results... and also the idea that probably nobody on the Breeze album from all the famous artists will be able to make a better JJ Cale contribution in style, mood, vocal and guitar... even EC will lose this competition..

Really like this one.  Sorry to put a slightly negative spin on what is really a positive thread but it is a pity it takes Mark to cover someone else's song on a record with EC in order for him to play the guitar these days and do a song at it's proper pace.
"I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order."

No, because i love also his solo stuff, I really like Privateering. I think it's more your own musical preferences saying this, isn't it?
