My humble tribute cover: "Telegraph Road"
« on: June 17, 2014, 10:49:53 AM »
Hi friends!

Using a backing track, I decided perform this personal tribute. I'm a very bad guitarrist  :P anyway ... I play my guitars & vocals, I'm very sorry because my english is very poor. I play a cheap resonator guitar, and a Stratocaster 61' guitar.

I know it's not a great tribute, but I really wanted to thank MK & DS for all these years of amazing music!!!!

" a bad guitarist" ??????? ??? ??? :o :o :o

well I would love to manage to play at least 50%  like this  :o

gorgeous tone, very well played, wonderful feeling.....love it !:clap :clap

the only bemol I would find is that the guitar tone lacks a bit of reverb to match the mix with the backing track, imho

apart from that, congrats !

TR played on a 61 strat......ah how I would love Mark playing it on his 61 strat....

and even if your english accent is not pefect, at least you sing the song like the original version and I like far much more than recent versions, especially the last verse

and your resonator guitar sound good too  :thumbsup

Thanks a lot for your answer! You are right, there's some bad effects over the strato ... I think some reverb and some chorus as well.
anyway  ;D
This is my red strato:

There is a lot of great songs from DS  MK ... I think this is one of them, but there's a lot  :P
Regards from Spain!!!

Very nice !!!
Where have you found the backing track ?
When I saw me in the French Canal + "24 heures" documentary (1991), it's a shame... But I was very proud of this experience.

Great stuff!  Did I mistakenly join the forum for amazingly talented individuals or what!
