Radio 21 in northern Germany have a DS day today, and play about one each hour!

You are right, but it is still better than nothing. Normally they are not played too often. Just now Heavy fuel   :)

Last hour live versions of MFN, WOL,BIA(OTN version) and at the moment Alchemy SOS. Was really great that DS was appreciated so much today and a lot of fun hearing them on the radio

Yes, it's funny isn't it... I know the feeling... as if we all not listen enough already!

Did they have a special reason?

I think it was a sort of advent calender where they feature one group every day. I usually don't listen to that station. Actually my son, who is studying in Scotland, listened to it via Internet and told me.

Oh yes what a feeling.

Still remember when playing first episode of Young Sheldon with Walk of Life sounding the very first thing.
You might get lucky, now and then

Haha, crazy how important those things seem! A couple of years ago I heard "Cannibals" in an elevator and I was happy the entire day because of that. And I don't even like that song  ;D .

My sister heard "Whoop de doo" in a store once and got excited on my behalf as well!

You are so right, I listen to most of the songs every day, but was so exited to hear them on the radio.

These days I feel that straits are being played more again. They are not uncool as much anymore.

Only this morning the standard version of BIA was played, and even though I am normally (almost) bored by it, hearing it like that is still so exciting

Two days ago the played BIA in programme where listeners could choose a song. I was so exited at the beginning, but then they only played the MFN version without the solo. That left me a bit dissapointed.

maybe because of their induction in RnR HofF ? (or is it the reverse : they have been unducted because they become cool again ? :think)

I tried to express this in my article, and several collegues were surprised : "why do you say they are uncool ? I didn't feel that"
So maybe times are a changin.....
