Interesting nonetheless because it contains DS full set.  Was the full set available on DVD?  I only have it on Video-CD!!!  :lol

Thanks Val.

I actually contemplated purchasing the Live Aid anniversary DVD a couple of days ago to have it in good sound/vision but I've seen it a million times on YT!

The difference between Knebworth and Live Aid  is that Knebworth was planned to be released in audio from day 1 so they reocrded it properly. Live Aid wasn't and the sound is not so as good as it could be.

For the picture quality this is SD video so no miracle but a lossless audio encoding is always good to have. Too bad they doesn't expand it as a double or triple BR as PF and PMC sets among others were nearly one hour long each.

DS  case is a little different as their perrformance was part of a supergroup affiche starting by EC solo then DS set and then Elton John.

To my known this was the first time MK played alongside with Phil Palmer on a stage.

The full audio recording exist in exc soundboard as "Knebworth 1990" - Tarantura TECD-005,006

Loved to listen to the complete day on the radio, eagerly awaiting Dire Straits.. and being surprised of the announcement of "another record" - after that, I went to a party and was on a high for several days...

However I would change this Blu-Ray anytime with a proper Wembley Arena 1985 Blu-Ray, complete... THAT'S the thing I am waiting for for 25 years now...

That's exactly what I did, LE (except for going to a party and getting high)  ;) and after hearing MK say that ITILYTM might be on the next record, I was so excited, because I loved it so much.   Then when OES came out, I was so disappointed to find that it wasn't there!

I would have never imagined back in those days that 25 years later - today - that same man is touring in 2015, doing about 90 shows or more...

It is great that Blu-Rays are released more and more with old stuff. Hopefully my dream with Wembley 85, or let's say, another gem, will be seen.

Full show too, including RAtR (and others) which was not transmitted for some reason.  ToL was also cut during the band intro.   :disbelief
