When I discussed with her end January attending her Paris concert, she said she would join for opening act (and hopefully a few songs onstage with Mark), in Paris (2 nights) and in RAH (not in O2)

Hopefully she will be able to do a bit more

She'll be in Dublin? :-( disaster. I find her voice quite annoying.

Hardly a disaster - there is one duet on the 18 new songs! Even if they play that, the rest of her contribution is background or harmony - they may be able to do some of the Emmylou stuff but I can't see it spoiling the show if you don't like her voice?

Indeed I also think she is pretty overrated (pun not intended). Some of the Kingom Of Gold versions sound better with Guy than with her. Her whispering voice is going on my nerves pretty fast, and I really think she does not give too much to Mark's music. However, maybe the band will be in better form or in better mood with her. They are always a little more energized with the lady in the band.  ;)

Ruth is playing the Mariposa Folk Festival in early July in Orillia, Canada.
