I think it's a bit strange: Mark has just released his new record, but all the interviewer wants to do is to show video clips from Walk of Life and talk about the riff on Money for Nothing. Bad journalism...

Standard Scandinavian journalism I would say. It's been like this for ages, nothing new or fresh, never.

Hej Marikablue.

I agree with you, don't believe either this man got an autograph from MK!!! True about the voice and now that I've seen the French interview and Live from Beryl which was perfect, I think that he was maybe tired and a bit sick!! Afterall he did 3 shows in 3 differents countries in 4 days I believe. He started in France than he made Norway and last Germany!!! :wave

I wonder when he'll ever stop doing playbacks ... or have they been faking it sooooo long that they don't know right from wrong anymore?

Anyway, is there any other serious artist doing playback shows? Embarrassing and sad.

It was only the Norwegian show.  The ones from Bremen and France were live.

The playback thing had primaly to do with the show wasn't recorded at the main studio in Stockholm (it's a co-production beetween Swedish and Norwegian television, and it's of course easier to get international guests to London than Stockholm). That means lack of technics, but also studio crew because they didn't wanna take part in that particular show because of the politician that guested that night.
