My question is, will we ever be fortunate enough to listen to the whole 4'00 long demo recording?

Would you prefer these 4mins or Telegraph Road without the final fade out ?

The latter.

it depends on how much seconds there are just after the fade out

if you take the example of Sultans, the seconds revealed by the guitar hero track are not THAT worth imho

I agree, but I think it would still be more interesting to find out.  I only find Summer mildly of interest but nothing very exciting.

Does it exist somewhere?

Telegraph without the fade out is about 20 seconds longer, 14:37 overall

how do you know that ?

I agree about the song itself, but it's a symbolic piece of history in Mark's life : his first "pro" studio recording (chilly winds being only an amateur demo I think)

and well, 20 more seconds of telegraph road, I am not sure what it would bring to us : we have plenty of live recordings of this solo, so....

The final few "power chords" would last that long so there can't really be anything of interest.  As I recall, as it fades out there is no lead guitar anyway, mainly piano, so perhaps it concludes differently to how we know it today... :think

Maybe that's a contradiction then!
