Another one in British Grove recording, apparently something that has nothing to do with MK...

According John McCusker instagram, he's recording in BG a movie soundtrack.

Whistle Down the Wind maybe?  :lol

Someone asks Guy if is possible that MK would join Clapton, Santana, Steve Winwood at Hyde Park summer festival (all these play in the same date) and he answers:

Anything is possible

Do you really think he means it or is just fooling us?
You might get lucky, now and then

About 1 week someone also asked Guy about the possibility to see MK somewhere on stage in 2018 or would they spent more time in the studio working on the projects.
He replied by saying it was difficult for him to answer that question at this moment...

Perhaps something is cooking.......

Familiar faces in British Grove these days... Marcus Cliffe was working on a project there and now is Chris Whitten...

Sorry for an off-topic, but Mark's studio with its round windows on the roof reminds me of our marketplace here in St. Petersburg which I visited often when I was a kid and it still exist. If only Mark knew with what his multi-million studio associates with :lol :lol :lol

He'd probably write a song about it  ;D

Richard, Guy and the folky team would have to learn Balalaika playing.
(so cliché)
I can't but reply, Wind of Change has just started in the pub...

Future looks promising of good news... 2018 is around the corner...

- A new Guy diary entry about the recording of the new album
- A scheduled date of finishing the album in March
- The announcement of the release of the Henrik Hansen documentary
- An announcement for the new record release, hopefully for 2018 as well?
- An announcement for the secret project?

It's been a long waiting but it's just around the corner  :lol

Why separate the Hansen documentary from the other stuff... I always thought that it would "only" be part of another Deluxe Box Set or let's say a special Edition of the album.

I thought the same, but it was announced in MKNEWS as a separated release, or that's what I understood...

I preffer it that way, would do the waiting shorter until the album, in case is release before, of course  :lol

Right. One :)

But you are right, Tommy Emmanuel played in a couple of MK songs, but for the MK record... so in total they are three, one in TE record, and two in MK record!
