I wonder why people post such things in Guy's forum instead of fan forums. What they pretend, show how cool are they?

Tell such things in a fan forum has sense, we fans want things like that but... In Guy's forum?

Nonsense.

Nothing beats the stupidness of the guy who posted leaked Albert Hall mixes on official MK forum. That guy deserves a golden statue in my opinion.

Actually in those years it was the only available fan forum so I kind of understand him. He should had written some of the most active fans with audio recordings in private instead but I can understand his mistake. He wanted to share it with all forumers but in the wrong and only one forum.
No, he was stupid.

I for one warned him by PM to remove the thread and distribute discretely but he refused to believe that there was any issue, claiming that all soundboards were unidentifiable by MK's management.

Less than 24 hours later he was being threatened with legal action/criminal charges by PCM, ha.

Guy clearly ignored the post about April 1st and the working title.

Perhaps i am missing something but how does somebody can get a hold of this information???
It has to be someone from the recordcompagny or so if the info is correct.....

Anyone ???

As much as I like Richard I don't like this news. His absence made me believe the MK/EC collaboration was a possibility  :'(

Richard's presence on the recording doesn't mean Mark won't play with Eric.
There are plenty boring parts to play you know (strummed acoutics and all that stuff) that neither Mark or Eric bother to play  ;D

on albums like JJ cale tribute or road to escondido, there are plenty other guitarists to do boring rhythm parts, so there could be the same here.

You know, when Richard wasn't there (KTGC or tracker) there were far less Mark typic rhythm fingerstyle than on the records with Richard.
For examples, rhyhtm parts like this is us, cleaning my gun, silvertown blues, boom like that, you don't know you're born, postcards, remembrance day etc...all these songs have Richard on a third or 4th guitar while Mark plays THAT typical rhythm thing. and on the contrario, on albums where he is alone on guitars, there isn't any rhythm part like this  :smack never understood that  :disbelief

Too many variables... It could be anything from six degrees of separation to a simple mistake by a website administrator. It's like Apple released a tweet about new iPhone 7 before it was even announced and Get Lucky leaked a whole month before official release date. This question has no answer... Today you can just google up where Mark was born and find his exact house in Glasgow and look at it through Google Maps, so no surprises when information about new album would leak since so many people are involved and I don't think all of them sign a document about not sharing any information about it. Partly because of that artists nowadays share a lot of stuff in social media by themselves so these leaks doesn't make any sense.

That, and: Not everybody who signs a document will also act accordingly.

Yes, as I said the other day, it makes me so sad and so angry to see it.
Some won't stop mollesting Guy again and again and again till they have destroyed everything.
No wonder we get less and less info if some behave like greedy predatory.

Tommy Emmanuel's album has a title and a release date: Accomplice One 19 January 2018.
Strange title

Clever, not strange. Partners in music (hopefully not) crimes

I love the title. Also, what I love the most, it seems the title is just "Accomplice" and "One" means that it's just the first part of duets. I'm pretty sure there'll be "Accomplice Two" after that. But I may be wrong.

Yes, it's not looking for Guy to answer but to push the poster of the information to say something else ;)
