Arthur Brendler:

You and the boys are recording the 2 MK projects?

GF: at the moment, just the new album

Will the new MK album be released faster than the mysterious project? Or maybe the mysterious project is ready?  :think

During this band sessions, the folkies are posting pictures of them recording... But with other artists...

And they weren't at the November band sessions either...
You might get lucky, now and then

Maybe the folkies recorded with MK even before the band sessions from the first diary?

We do not know much. Guy Fletcher wrote that Richard Bennett is in the studio no one asked if they were John McCusker and Michael McGoldrick

Highly unlikely. It's totally unusual to record those before drums and bass for example. Usually it would be drums and bass first, then keys and guitars followed by the folk lot and vocals.

Looks like they won't be around this time  8)

But to be honest... I like it when it's just one song or two.

I'm sure the folkies recorded with MK for its secret project.

March is scheduled as completion date, maybe the folkies have gaps already planned to go to BG and record their parts, or maybe they already did before. It's likely that there were band sessions before the one in the first diary entry. I recall Guy talking about it in his forum when he said they were working in parallel in MK new album and the secret project.

We do not know much. Guy Fletcher wrote that Richard Bennett is in the studio no one asked if they were John McCusker and Michael McGoldrick

Mccusker and Cunningham are posting pictures in Instagram where they say they are recording and playing at their own, so right now they are not with MK.

Unless MK just needed for a short period and they are back to their own work...

That's totally possible.

Guy comfirmed they will be finishing the new MK album in march. So september release is very possible. Could this indeed mean they will tour after the release :think :think :think

The album will be ready in March, but also mixing, cover and etc. Under good circumstances, the album could be released before July.
