Ringtones
« on: October 24, 2016, 11:26:03 PM »
I was coming home in the train this evening and the lady behind me received a call on her mobile.  What struck me was her utterly fantastic ringtone which was the guitar intro of MFN!  Never heard a DS ringtone before.  I just keep mine on the standard one, but no one ever phones me anyway.  :'(  Does anyone else have a DS one?

I keep my phone on silent/vibration mode all the time unfortunately. At home I can turn "loud" mode, but it's all just default stuff. Boring :lol

Really cool ringtone have a man called Paul Simon, once in an interview his telephone rang, and the ringtone was guitarist named Ali Farka Touré...

You seldomly need more than 15 seconds until you pick up your phone or it's getting annoying. So I had the coolest DS intro ever as a ringtone some years ago. But as dmg said, you write more than you actually really phone these days. So I turned it down and also use a standard ring tone now, one that is as polite and discreet as possible to other people's ears.

Oh, it was the intro of Expresso Love. Of course.  ;)

Hi guys

It would be nice if everybody could upload his DS/MK ringtones here. So everybody can download and use it for himself. Maybe, we can find out more easy, where are the real DS/MK fans in the future.

Thanks a lot  :clap

I have the Walk of Life intro as my ringtone. Downloaded it from itunes...its a cover version but sounds great.
If the phone rings when I am in a public place (airport, restaurant etc) people sometimes look at me and smile, or even compliment my awesome ringtone...makes me feel like a million bucks!  ;D ;D

I use "Hill Farmer's Blues" (one of the live versions) as ringtone. The intro works nice and easy as a ringtone ,)
Cheers Peter

I cut one from Privateering and used it for a while.

There is an excellent little program called mpTrim you can download for free, it's good for making your own ringtones.
