Thanks, Dusty. Will google later, too busy today. I tried to call them, only an answering maschine was on. But yes, it is close to us, we live at the moment in SW11, but move to NW3 soon.
I'll go if I can get a ticket.

I think this could be great news for everybody  :D

By Public Transport:
The Club is less than 100 metres from Putney Bridge Tube station, at the Eastern end of Ranelagh Gardens. Turn left out of the station and left again under the bridge. The Club is ahead of you.
By Car:
Hurlingham is situated at the East end of Ranelagh Gardens, at the southern end of Napier Avenue. Sat Nav users should key in 'Napier Avenue' as there is restricted access under the bridge by Putney Bridge station.
You might get lucky, now and then

i wish i could come,

It would cost lots of money...( plane accommodation gig food... pfff)
Any idea if it's a normal concert or just a little? How long would it be?
Maybe it's better if i save money to travel more in 2010... but i miss MK's lives =)

who is going?

I wonder if the main event will be just MK, or will there be other acts on stage too.  If so, it would only be worthwhile going if I could afford two tickets (

As the booking page on the Prince's Trust site doesn't mention other acts, I'm presuming the main event is a full MK concert and the exclusive first part will be a meet 'n' greet for those with very deep pockets.

I guess it depends what you class as a "full" MK concert. The promo band will probably have a set of around 45-60 mins prepared for their promo gigs if the last album is anything to go by, so I would guess that's what will be played at this gig. I seriously doubt it will be the full 2hr set from the "proper" tour.

As much as I love MK I don't think my partner will let me warrant those prices for a ticket :(

I tried to call them yesterday when I was on the road, but there was only the answering maschine. Then I sent the booking form to them before I went to the EC show at about 7pm BST and now I got the answer via email that all VIP tix are SOLD. They offer me the 200 GBP and 100 GBP tickets which are still available, but when I spend this amount of money, then I also want the 'private' concert before the official show and one of the best seats.
Anyway, I'm on the waiting list...

Anyone lucky?

Best,
Martina

Yes, I'm lucky, nothing to do with MK.
But this could be another possibility. Quite sweet that MK/PC has reserved some tix for fans. http://www.markknopfler.com/news/news_items.aspx?PostID=14612
