They are huge fans of Mark's, I think it's very nice of him to participate.

The song is good for Mark's playing style but he could've done better. Sounds lazy sometimes...

I dont like the song, I dont like his voice. MK's guitar sounds out of place to me.

Disappointed with the song.  I heard them on The One Show last week promoting the album and they played another song that was a lot better than this.

When you compare his recent collaborations to the likes of Big River I really wish he'd just say he was washing his hair that day!  :lol

I agree. Most of the last collaborations are uninspired and totally autopilot noodling... Not impressed. Not giving something essential to the songs I'm afraid...

His contribution to the Dan Auerbach track is good. That whole album is great.

After listening a few more times it is beginning to grow on me, but It would have been much more satisfying if MKs guitar at the end didn't fizzle out like a damp squib -  it desperately needs a crescendo.  :-\

I find funny when bands like The Killers, who play a music that has nothing to do with MK's, said that Dire Straits and MK are a big influence and that they are fans...

I think it's a nice song, no highlight but also no skipper.
As said before, a more powerfull buildup would be cooler and MK's licks in the beginning sound a little off.

Tbh, not a fan off The Killers and would probably not have listened to the song/album if MK wasn't on it.
Only know them because of their old hits and their R&J cover/MK fandom.

Looking forward to more MK material in the (near) future.

You can find a clean version of the song from the album on this youtube link.

Also, there are many versions of this song that had been performed live. Maybe compare a few with MK's contribution on the album to see which one you prefer.

I vote for MK anywhere, anytime. :D

Killers did cover Romeo & juliet and they are a pop group, like DS n the early 80ies. So there are lines connecting them.

The new Bob Dylan Bootleg series 13 is dedicated on the christian period, with unreleased versions of Slow train album, for those that like the old co-operations!
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I don't like The Killers, they sound boring to me, and MK contribution with them is like they are playing diferente tunes, it never gets to fit what MK plays with the boring Killers song...

Just a matter of taste.
