Liam O'Flynn
« on: March 15, 2018, 08:16:22 AM »
It was so sad to read this morning that Liam O'Flynn has died.   I was first introduced to his playing of the uillean pipes on the Golden Heart album and went on to buy most of his albums.  RIP Liam!

Thanks for posting it. I thought the same when I read Guy's Twitter message yesterday.
Liam once said a short but wonderful sentence about Mark: his eloquence and elegance are unique.

Sad.  He was a great musician.  Of course he was also a guest on the Night In London video lending very fine support to many of the songs.

He also played in the CAL score, together with Paul Brady. Both of them were part of the band Planxty, with other familiar names like Donal Lunny...
