The name likely won't mean a thing anyway so we're building it up a bit too much I think.  What will be of more interest is the packaging:  number of discs, deluxe boxes, bonus material, DVD etc...

Yes and maybe a single release some weeks before release and starting with snippets to tease us. I remember Redbud Tree coming up early August?

LE

I think it was June or July.

EDIT: 6th July

Redbud Tree was the official single.

I know, that was the reason why I was mentioning it.

The song we know will not be a regular on the forthcoming tour then.   ;D

'Beryl' the strangest example of the neglected single! Surely would have sounded good in concert?

It was too short and the lyrics too repetitive and simple to work live.

Both singles (Redbud Tree and Beryl) were 'aired' 2 months before album release.

Punish the Monkey too.  That was the most disappointing for me.  Really like that one.

Monkey is the most 'Straits' song of that album

Brilliant song. We can get wild, I like too. Love the tremolo guitar vibe.

Belljon1 has posted this at Guy's forum. Probably is nothing but some titles look elaborated so I paste it here just in case Guy deletes it ;)

Guy, I’ve put together a playlist for the new MK album. Keen for feedback please. If mark likes it, I’ve no plans to charge for usage.

Diamond Annie
Repton, home of champions
Dog leap stairs
Under Gateshead skies
The twang machine
Cullercoats
Sonoma raceway
Tom Cribb’s blues
Corkscrew, SC
Oregon shuffle

Maybe they are in iswc-net...

Some thoughts ..
-If this is really the list, belljon1 must really have had some VERY early insight because remember that he came up with Cullercoats ... when? March?
-When there is a track on the album that really is called Cullercoats it MUST be the title!! Must!!!! Everything else would make no sense...
-10 tracks is not too much.
-I already  love Diamond Annie as an opener!
-The twang machine sounds stupid as a title ...

How stupid would it be to post that at Guy's forum if it was not true? But then again...

10 songs really fits with Guy telling it's worth for money when he was asked if the record would be double again...

Why? That logic I am not able to follow..
