I am the first one to agree it's all very unpleasant and I apologize for causing this matter.

Monday is Sept 17th so in two months November 17th. I really guess we will get some news now any day. It's however the latest release of an regular MK album apart from compilations which of course have Christmas in mind.

With the delay, I guess that it was planned for an earlier release and I guess therefore Christmas is NOT one of the reasons for the late release date.

When the secret project was mentioned, some of us including me wondered about anything Dire Straits related, let it be new versions of old songs or something like that. With the 40 years anniversary there is still somewhere in the back of my mind a litte hope that we will get at least SOMETHING for that occasion, maybe one song, one new version, anything ... some small hope at least ...

I would like, but I do not believe it. Mark looks to the future. And he is consistent in this. He demonstrated this clearly on April 14.

I think many songs, demo, live, unreleased songs that never made it to an DS album are lying in the vaults off BG. But there is sadly only one who can deside what to do with those songs  :smack
