If It was in my hands, I'll buy immediately Batshuayi for Atlético Madrid. Cant believe he is not playing in this world cup...
Well he did, did he not?

Yes! He's fast and good, although he missed too many chances today.

Belgium is the best team so far, by far. However, in portuguese (at least in Brazil) we say that when it's a traditional team with big achievements under its belt it has a 'heavy shirt' and it makes all the difference when you play big games. I'd say that Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Spain and France are the big guys. Let's see how Belgium will react when facing one of them down the road.

Of course Italy is out though, I'm sorry dear italian friends  ::)

Yes, what Belgium need is do good when they have to face the big teams.

This is how Spain went from being a candidate to really be capable of win big trophies.

Exactly, Spain went through this process from 2008 to 2010.

I'm shocked by the lack of commitment and wit Germany showed today. Felt like they didn't care at all.

Özil always plays that way - I don't know how Arsenal fans put up with him.  He needs a good kick up the arsenal!  He wasn't the sort of player for a crunch game like today.  He was just strolling about there not interested at all.  Fantastic game for the neutral though.  Sorry LE.

As a gunner myself, I don't like Ozil At all... I don't understand why they signed a new contract with him specially a so expensive one by the very little he does...

My german friends say he doesn't care because he doesn't feel german, he's more turkish, but he shows the very same attitude playing for clubs so I don't think that's the problem. Said that, the whole team looked apathetic and disinterested.

I'm not surprised at all about Spain out of the world cup... I didn't like the squad at all, the system was boring and useless, and the last minute manager clearly doesn't know how to manage a team, the substitutions he made were a laugh, when you see something is not working, the logical thing to do is change and do another thing, but he changed players by others that pkayed in the same position and with the same style... Only when he put the 4th change, he made something different with Rodrigo, and it was the best moment for Spain, but it was too late.

I was clear that Spain would be eliminated sooner or later, but I didn't expect it so soon but next round.

I hope they fire the useless Hierro and hire a real manager, someone with new ideas and a new system and they shake the style.

I agree. Spain were useless, boring and totally bereft of ideas going forward.  Like-for like substitutions, as you said, were a glaringly obvious error and 2 holding midfielders when they needed creativity?  They deserved to go out.

Did I get a glimpse of Putin in the VAR room?  ;)

That was close Pottel, that was close...

If Japan manages to score a 2-0, and keep doing dangerous attempts... Brasil is going to give you a hugh bite!. Belgium is not gonna be lucky eternally  ;D
