Hello.
I found some pictures of a Philips-Dire Straits Tourbus on the www. I don´t know the real copyright-owner of that photos and i don´t have further information. It seems to be a Promotional-Tourbus by the Philips Company, maybe to promote the CD-Technology. I don´t know if the Band was carried with that vehicle, too.
Does anybody know that bus, or does anybody had seen it live during some concerts in 1985. I don´t have a lot of information on that bus.
You can see a harbour-scene with a big ferry-boat, wich carried the bus. Possibly Melbourne or Brisbane in early 1986. That can be true, according to the BIA-Tourdates in Australia.
