Maybe Tom and Nigel are only on for a few single tracks.
...in order to not expect a rather unrealistic complete overhaul of the setlist and then being disillusioned and killing Guy again.

Since Ktgc tour in 2008 that was the first major change regarding setlist, the repertoire needs a good shake. It's about time.

According to Guy, there are plans to sell the live recordings again.
You might get lucky, now and then

I'm happy, but I would like to have a cover album. I go to the store and buy. But it is probably impossible.

Don't forget, that this "horn section" can also act in a sort of "backing singers" mode, so you can throw basically any song with many voices in.

For shure true! But atleast they have to play a few songs where the trompet and the sax are kind of importent. Otherwise it doesn’t make sence to get a trompetist and a sax player right? :think. With only Nigel they also played some more “sax” (Your latest trick, On every Street (sopransax)) songs or intros. But ofcourse I could be wrong  ;)

Cool to have the live recordings again! 8)
But that does probably also mean that we can kind of forget an official live release (Dvd, Blu-ray or cd).
Ah well atleast a lot of live recordings  ;D

Well I bet that Mark will use them in an unexpected way regarding what I read here. The studio version is one thing but the live arrangement is another, especially for songs recorded years ago. Mark had time to change his mind about "how" to perform them, so maybe some songs will follow the standard rules (YLT reproducing the BIA album intro?) but others will be performed quite differently.

Just going back to the live recordings and a question of Guy's forum asked by someone remarking that their quality has become worse since 2010.  Guy answered with this reassuring reply that bodes well for the forthcoming recordings:

"Most of that is out of my hands but yes, the last tour the live mixes weren't great. This tour will be different."

"I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order."

I asked the same thing but he didn’t want to answer lol, anyway, I think that it becomes obvious and I’m pretty sure we’ll have a great mixing for the coming tour.

How come I'm so surprised when the tide rolled in

I wonder how much it would take the tour to be announced... first dates for Tracker tour were announced on September 16th 2014, Privateering ones on August 27th 2012...

My bet would be around the same time the album will be out.  :think

I would've guessed just after the release too, however looking at these dates from Jbaent it appears the previous tours were announced before the album release.  I suppose they can release the dates well before tickets actually going on sale mind you.

I personally hope they will wait as long as possible, because I'm very busy now and buying tickets is, like Ingrid or pratical chair says, a millitary operation.
