Not overly happy that I now have ywnwa running through my head. :)Don't like LFC at all.
Great slide guitar though.

Funny to see people always think about Liverpool FC when thinking in YNWA, which is a very beautiful song by itself...

Really getting into this fab tune/song and I chuckle when I hear the last three lines of the first verse as I can personally relate to them!

'Take the short cut home through the loony bin
I never gave much thought to the souls in there
I was just a boy, too young to care'

Where we lived when I was a boy, we had a 'residential' home for the elderly folk and I would take a  'short cut' through there but I guess I was scared of the residents looking at them as if they were deranged or from another planet!!!! Great lyrics as ever...

This one I've been listening to the most. It's funny because I never cared for Junkie Doll at all (and still don't) but he turned it around just enough so that it works for me. My only complaint would be instead of this pretty much note-for-note gospel cover at the end he should do a proper Knopfler solo (could be slide as well for all I care). That way it would instantly get into "top shit" category.

Does anyone have a clue what guitar he's using here? Is it a baritone? And what type?

Yes, I reckon you are correct with the Danelectro...... Mind you I started off quite keen on this track but I'm not too sure now....
