two young lovers tuning

Guys, I have looked at probably every available video and it seems to me that he's always in some other tuning for TYL. Seems like open G most likely. Played with SG, black tele, strat, but his left hand positions look pretty much the same every time to my eyes. Correct?

Here you can see the actual piece of the set and it indeed does say DBGDGD for this song which is Open G tuning.
