What’s been the average wait time for shows recently? Can’t wait to get my hands on the Verona show and have preordered but it’s been 3 weeks and they seem a bit behind with the shows that are available,

Always a hard wait!

Seems to be around 5 weeks, rather than 3. Gdansk on 11 July is the earliest show currently waiting an upload. Hang in there buddy!

Yes, but shows are not made available for download in the order of tour dates. Nimes (15th of July) for example is already available for a couple of days. I ordered the Lucca show (13th), and it’s not available yet.

And to be honest: if I listen to other shows, I must say the Simfy live recordings which were 50% available right after the show, the remaining the day after were much, much better. :clap

Thanks guys! Absolutely loved the show so looking forward to hearing it!

Interesting they haven’t caught up a bit with releasing shows given the band has been off for a few weeks. The American shows will start soon again,

They are clearly behind again in the 3 weeks schedule as in the beginning of the tour...

Most June shows were released on time, are they on vacation too maybe?

The 2019 recordings sound ok to me but I agree that the 2010 sounded absolutely great. And the 2005 shows from Passalong sounded even better, even if they were highly mp3 compressed.

Too bad we have nothing from the 2008 tour but I'm happy that they provide quality recordings since 2010 though

Btw, could someone explain the difference between "desk recordings" (or something like that) and soundboard recording, as GF mentioned the other day on his forum. Just curious, thanks.

Just downloaded the Lucca flac recording. It’s “ok” but could have been better. The radio broadcasts of previous tours was way better, but hey: we got a recording! ;D

Morning all,

If you had to choose just one of earlier shows that included silvertown blues to buy in stick or MP3 format which one would you go for? Obviously sound quality is paramount.

Thanks :wave

The Leeds concert is excellent. Only negative it's the "Silvertown" version he played. It's the most boring I heard from the whole tour. It explains quite well why he stopped playing it, it sounds like he was already bored of the song, gave it a last chance but with very little faith... It was quite dissapointed as the concert itself is brilliant, but Silvertown is played with no soul.

Totally agree with you, jbaent, regarding Silvertown from Leeds.   The version from Barcelona is really great in comparison.   I, too, think he was bored with SB by then, but Leeds is an excellent show, apart from SB.    :)

I had it in my car being playing in constant rotation for so long that the cd stopped working!!!!!!

I shold say the summer here is so hot that the cdr usually stop working if the are too much time in the car.

I listened to it last week and noticed this too although I must say I didn't notice anything at the show.  Leeds I enjoyed immensely with a large AMIT contingent lording it around the city!  ;D
