He's past his best but I'm sure he can still put on a great show even with just an acoustic.

I attended two of the 2015 RAH run and he was still able to entertain.
Just that when soloing he wasn't that high he used to be until the 2010 area.

These are probably my goodbye attending Eric performing live.
I don't want to witness an over diminished Clapton and the 2015 shows sounded the right time for me to get off.

That joke about the home at the end was just hillarious!

But I just realised that I also hate Eric Clapton. I hate him. I hate him for his talent, I hate him for the kind of relaxed life he has. For what he can do, for the people he does it with, for the places he does it in. I basicaly hate everything about him, including his nose hair. There, I said it.

These 3 minutes with "catch the blues" just some it all up. They're really having a blast doing it. That it's all happening in probably the best studio the world has ever seen is just an extra thrill. And the interview, I just love (I mean hate) how relaxed and open they are and I could listen to these guys all night. Talking music or shepherd's pie probably.

I know he's been through a lot but if I end up like that when I'm 70, oh man! I'll skip the arthritis and getting deaf part though.
