If Mark placed Beryl, Basil and Laughs and Jokes on DTRW and replaced Floating Away, Nobody does that and When you leave
the album would have been a real Killer thing
Love will find a Way

Terminal of Tribute To?  Maybe it's Tracker you dislike?  :think

No, no... it's a joke.
From DTRW i can listen only these 4 songs.
So i included Terminal as a joke.

DTRW, for me, its the worst MK album ever.
The album has great engeneering, great guitar... but i dont like the songs and dont like the arranjements.

Sorry my poor english.

Don't apologise.  Sorry you don't like the new album - hopefully it's not a slow learner but a "slow grower."  ;)

If I had to take one song from MK to my desert island it would not be from any of his last 5 albums at the very least. Golden Heart and Sailing to Philadelphia would be the two finalists. With Shangri La maybe challenging. Unfortunately what we are being presented with is MKs favourites and not what 'we' the public/his fans' are expecting. Its no good singing to an audience one of your favourite songs if we, the audience would rather hear something else.
Ask 9 out of 10 MK fans what they would want to hear and the majority (who have followed him since1978) would welcome any DS song as opposed to something from his last few albums. Its the nature of the beast. If you cant better DS then why expect fans to expect anything less?

It makes sense for him to sing his favourite song, with a few added big songs. Why would he get up and play songs he doesn't like? would any artist do that? how can he please all the fans? it's impossible, we all like different songs, a song I would say is amazing, someone else would say they really don't like it, nothing unusual in that. Songwriters move on, I remember Roger Waters saying on the radio in the mid 80's "If someone said to me, Right, here's a million dollars, go out and perform Atom Heart Mother. I'd say, you must be f...ing joking!!"
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

The first concert I ever went to was Pink Floyd at Earl's Court, London, it was my present to myself for my 21st birthday on 19th October, but I went to the concert the day after, as I couldn't get a ticket for the day of my birthday, still the best concert I have ever been to, musically and as a spectacle. I also went to see David Gilmour at the Meltdown Festival in 2001.

Aaah the meltdown show, noice. Got that on dvd. I saw the waterless Floyd in 1994 in Belgium, then waters in Germany for his first wall tour, then once more in Belgium for his second, saw Gilmour live on Oberhausen 2015 and live in Belgium in 2017. Saw Mason live last year in Antwerp. All brilliant.

My top five are the ones that stayed on my i-pod:
1. Good On You Son.
2. Drovers Road.
3. One Song At A Time.
4. Trapper Man.
5. Matchstick Man.
I really dislike My Bacon Roll, so quite disappointed it's one of few songs off the album that has stayed in the set. There's a couple of songs (Just A Boy, When You leave) that are ok, but overall it doesn't come close to matching Tracker, easily my favourite solo album, for me.
