TV Chef gets help from MK
« on: September 21, 2018, 04:18:26 AM »
UK TV chef James Martin is doing a live tour where he finishes the show with a live jam session. This years final song will be MFN and apparently Knopfler has helped him out. He revealed it in an interview on BBC radio 2.

Hi, I’ve uploaded a video to YouTube of this - sorry it’s late been trying to upload here without success.
Here’s the link - it’s a bit of fun!

Ouch!  I wouldn't have the nerve if I couldn't do it better than that.

True, they’re were a few cringeworthy moments!!
But - all a bit of fun! - for a very famous TV chef who had only picked up a guitar less than 2 years previously to have a go well what can I say except Good On You Son!
Mark’s intro definitely lacked the elasticity of those OES days when he played the opening solo whilst the band were “on strike”.
