It just seems a little bit much for me. I can only think of 3 or 4 artists i'd spend that kind of money on, as much as I love his music, Mark isn't one of them. It's still a little vague as to what appears on the bonus disc. B-sides, demos, live?

13000 seems a lot of boxes to me, but if they produced that many, they probably think they will sell. They have probably done their  "little poll" too.

actually not that many.
from Pink Floyd's "super limited" but rather "super expensive" last box that reissued all cd's in their original lp format and layout, but on cd, only 10000 where produced (and sold)

Well Guy has written on his forum that just 13,000 of the box sets will be produced and as the saying goes "once they are gone, they are gone" and there will be no more available after these are sold.

13,000 worldwide is not so very many, so it really is a limited edition and probably makes the pricing a little more understandable. But still a little too expensive for my pocket, so while it may be a nice to have, I don't think it's worth missing any meals over.

I'm quite sure the 3 bonus tracks will show up somewhere, maybe even the behind the scenes tour footage (itunes etc?)
which, in common with quite a lot of people it seems, are the only items in the box set that are of interest to me.

jbaent - there probably is a standard or recommended retail price, but some retailers will be prepared to discount the price to persuade people to buy it from them rather than another company. Nothing to get upset about, it's just commercialism.

People on this forum spend thousands on watching MK play the same 17 songs over and over again (I fully understand why, it's the costs I'm thinking of). The box isn't that expensive. It'll be more MK, less beer, CD's, new clothes and such for a month or three. I'm sure it's worth it.
