At the dawn of what could be Mark's last big tour, I just wanted to say that Danny is not only a percussionist but a fantastic drummer too, who can play Mark's songs like no else.

Drums are just another instrument that an excellent percussionist plays.

Richard Bennett: "Without going into many details, there will be a lot of surprises, a couple of terrific new band members along with our old pal and ever brilliant Danny Cummings returning to play percussion. There’s a brand new sound system that I must say, having heard some rehearsal playbacks, sounds like a finely tuned stereo system. Tremendous lights as well. As usual the whole package, only better"

Almost everyone welcomes a refreshed setlist, but al of a sudden I am kind of „worried“ if they probably would change TOO much. I just hope MK had not created a setlist which is different in any possbile way, for instance, that they added only songs where the trumpet, sax and the folkies can shine. In this case, MK  wouldn‘t need to play serious guitar  ::) that said, I am totally fine if it is a mixture of guitar songs and songs where the rest are featured, but in the end I am going to see a concert because of Mark.

I don’t worry about the setlist, I am much more worried about Mark not being in form:

Our time in Scotland meant both Mark and I felt we were slightly behind schedule so the three week rehearsal period was welcomed.
