He did alternate between opening with ‘Why Aye Man’ and ‘What it is’ on the European tour with Dylan.

True, it works in concert, but nevertheless if you rehearsed why aye man you should not drop it in my opinion  :smack

If you count the 2011 Dylan tour as a full tour, he did it with WAM and WII back then.
