Nice playing by Richard, closer to the album version.
Brass on everything these days it seems but played nicely by the two youngsters. Inevitable last word on the song by Ianto "Ego" Thomas  ::)
Nice version but needs some more outings to get played with more confidence.

Mark's unsteady footing at the end really gives me a hard time. I so hope and pray we will not be presented with a Parkinson's diagnosis or similar by Mark  later. From my point of view there are many hints to something really serious. Very hard to see him in this condition. Especially when you always thought MK had the coolest walking style in on Earth ever...

I understand your fear, I could look at him well in A'dam. It was as if he really had a pain in his wrist. Kind of cramping.
He looks very fragile physically, not mentally!

Very cool! Do you know where abouts in the set it appeared?

The last three were MFN, PTTE, SFA according to a comment on Facebook

Thanks!

Interesting choice of order, You would think:

MFN
SFA
PTTE/GH

would make more sense, interested to hear the 3 in order to hear how it sounds,

Glad he's mixing it up a bit, I do have quite a soft spot for GH though!

I prefer GH over SFA but i am happy that he did not replace MFN with it  :)

I'm not sure SFA is the song Guy was talking about. What kinda special trumpet mute does Tom need for this?
Let's see if there's something else in the pipelines.

Actually the mute doesn't had anything to do with they were rehearsing the brass arrangements for So Far Away, Guy just connected that they were working on them and Tom told him about the mute search he had saved on ebay.
You might get lucky, now and then

Looking at GH this tour he has been really struggling with it, even using the LP.  The LP totally ruins the song for me so in all honesty SFA is a step up this time, especially as it sounded pretty good and more akin to the album version.

When introducing the band in Antwerp he was sitting on his chair and when introducing Tom he said something like, tricky for me turning around like this. Could be nothing but looking at the way he also walks on stage one could say he has some (serious)  back problems.....

so 3 encores all from Brothers in Arms + Your Latest Trick, not very smart imo

Piper to the end is from Get Lucky

give me 2 minutes to understand the situation thank you, I am new to the MK world

too many songs from BIA album overall in the tour and getting rid of BIA to get the overplayed SFA is not exactly very smart imo

a great setlist in Barcelona getting worse and worse and worse

I like David Gilmour live approach, both last 2 tours he played 90-100% of the new album + many good selections from the past,
MK plays very few songs from the album, sometimes even just 1, and then also a strange selection of past songs

Gilmour playes indeed more new music but it also took him 10 years to start a new tour. 2006-2016.

Plus for mixing things up.

Minus for choice of played-to-death uninteresting songs.

What gives.
