My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

For those keeping score at home, BIA was brought back to replace Piper tonight. And it was awesome. Rest of the set was the same as the first night.

Thanks, this is awesome, I hope he’ll keep it for the rest of the tour.

Nobody agreed? What am I, chopped liver?  :o

Yesterday on the August 20, 2019 page I wrote: Tomorrow night, I expect the same setlist pretty much, except for one or two changes....he did that in 2015; so I am gonna guess BIA instead of Piper.

   Saul

I remember 4 years ago, the second night at the Beacon, he played Haul Away, and didn't play Laughs and Jokes …
Mark knows that the real fans come to both nights, so he switched it around for us.

It was a good version, but hard to compare after two months of not playing it, but I was thrilled!!

Mark missed a note in Wye Aye Man, but other than that, he was on fire tonight! Bacon Roll was great! Last night there was a standing O after R&J, but not tonight.
Running of the bulls did not materialize that they had extra guards down in front after last night's fracas with them! First they told me not to touch the stage; then not to touch the railing in front of the stage-ok, fine; but when they told us to go back to our seats during Piper, there was major blowback, so they gave up and walked away!!  :thumbsup

In terms of songs played in concerts, two NY nights are better than two Rome nights.  You guys who attended the NY nights are lucky!!!

With the sound and the lights, they also win over Rome. Only the scenery wins at Rome

Did you record the whole concert?

There won't be soundboard recordings of the NY shows sho audience recordings would be excellent for the rest of fans!
You might get lucky, now and then

I did, yes, in 24bit, 96kHz...don't tell herlock.  :lol

I think the Beacon shows will be available as soundboards. They're up for pre-sale at least.
