My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

SAN solo might be one of the best ever. Wow!

He seems to be back to playing the OES outro the same way as back on OES tour so he must be getting more confident about his playing. Or just a couple of glasses of wine.

I agree - he's so focussed he even forgets to point at Jimbo at the end for his little bit.  Brilliant!

I'm happy for Mark, but if it takes 95% of the tour to get warmed up properly, then it's time to review the pre-tour routine.

This show is good, but Bordeaux, RAH and Paris (much earlier in the tour) are just as good IHMO.
I would say only the very first ones (spanish ones) were rusty, then, it was depending on Mark's mood, some shows were good (the ones I mentioned for instance), some with much more mistakes (Nîmes for instance). You might get lucky and get a good show...

Rusty or not, at least the Spanish shows and audience got lucky and had TR, a song i have missed this tour, probably too long and demanding for Mark to perform good enough.. maybe that's the reason it was dropped? You can see him shaking the hands several times on different TR videos from this year.
