I often wonder why there appears to be so little interaction with Brendan Crocker post NHB. Couple of charity gigs and that's about it. Not much for someone Mark once declared as his favourite singer....

From the NHB, Steve was his friend, and Brendan was friend of Steve. It's normal than MK had more interaction with Steve than Brendan.

That's not quite true. They did meet through Steve Phillips but had known each other for years before the NHB. Mark had already played on several of BCs albums prior to MPHAGT.

I tried to get something from Guy and he answered me that publicly, he can't say anything...

So it might mean there is something in the pipeline  ;D

They should release material from the screens that were used this tour. If they had announced something like that would be made, maybe less people would piss off Mark with their phones and lights  :lol

I asked the question in order to avoid the upcoming projects we already know in his answer, LOL

Hello Doc. Now that you are back from a very well deserved holidays, and have some Blues club gig announced, could you tell us a little of next projects, besides the recording of the Local hero musical record and the next Guy’s cd? As you use to say, always looking forward

It would be interesting if only Guy won't be saying that about any information that hasn't been published officially yet.
If it's not official, don't even try asking Guy, so it could be anything (including that there's no news or he don't know).

Eric Clapton and friends - tribute to Ginger Baker, February 17th 2020

Did you saw this? https://www.whereseric.com/eric-clapton-news/303-eric-clapton-friends-tribute-ginger-baker

Eric Clapton AND FRIENDS... And "The Friends" are not announced yet, but tickets would be on sale tomorrow!!!!

MK is a friend, and he knows the Cream stuff, actually MK had played some Cream songs with Clapton when they toured together, also played one Blind Faith song when Clapton so I guess if MK is one of the guests they could at least play "White room", "Sunshine of your love" and "Can't find my way home"

Just speculation, of course, but if MK still has the idea of stop touring, this is the kind of one offs he could do...

Let´s see if there is any announcement today before tickets go on sale tomorrow, it's the Hammersmith Odeon so tickets will be sold out soon I guess...

Never gonna happen.  These days Mark gives a whole new meaning to the nickname Slowhand!

As a guitarist Mark is done, hence his constant attempts to convince us he's a songwriter.  He recognises this and these get-togethers are a thing of the past.  This is why nothing like this has happened since Monserrat back in 1997.  The Wyman thing was different as he was the only guitarist playing on stage during his set.
