I just notices that Mark's site had included some tour statistics in a video form.  I thought they were interesting.
          86 Shows
          21 Countries
          22 States
          45 Touring Party
   10,400 Meals in Catering
    1,332 Songs Performed
643,000+ Tickets

Not sure what kind of overhead a tour would have, but it looks semi-impressive.

643k does sound like a lot. Considering the oes tour only played to 2.5 million if I remember correctly

The stats were for the entire tour, not just the States - 21 Countries and 22 States.  If you figure 16 songs per concert (and we know that didn't always happen) that multiplies out to 1,376 performances, so pretty close to the reported 1,332.

The 643,000 seemed a lot to me, but I would guess that was paid admissions.  If some or a bunch of tickets were sold to an outfit like Ticketmaster or StubHub, they might not have been able to sell all of their tickets, so . . . .  I'm also pretty sure there were some concerts that were totally sold out and every seat taken, but not all of them were from what was said earlier in the threads here.

Personally, I thought the tour was probably a success, but don't know what Mark or anyone else thought.

I look at the Tour Map and can't help but think "what a bunch of lucky people they are". I would do anything to travel and play music like this, but I ain't no MK. Or RB. Or GF.

Oh, thanks, but still twice as much as the stated 3,5 million.

I think that was what they expected, initially the tour was meant to last for about two years including more countries than they ended up with. Also, it was planned originally to visit the usa a second time but they skipped that due to poor ticket sales. Still, i think 3,5M is amazing.

21 countries and 22 states? So, the USA doesn't count as 1 country, but as 22 states?

Spain is divided in regional autonomies, similar than the states more or less, so they should had counted 6 autonomies instead of sum Spain as one country...
