Hope dies last guys, let's hope MK will find another way of sharing music or try a some kind of a new format. Clearly that wasn't the best idea as was stated above, especially for a British artist to emerge on the US radio station. Makes no sense... He did what Bob Dylan did, but Bob Dylan is an American artist! Clearly, British Grove is still here and clearly Mark wants to share music with the world, so let's see how it evolves.

I rather hear new MK music than MK playing others people music...

But that was better than nothing...
You might get lucky, now and then

I don’t think that there’s a choice. Mark decided to do it seriously and professionally, and make it into a radio programme, in which only 5 minutes of MK talking transfers into 1 hour show with ads. He could achieve the same thing by just posting his favorite artists on social media and possibly get even a better result. And you can post from everywhere, even while sitting on the toilet.

But anyway, that’s not a choice, The British Grove Broadcast is easy to do and recorded in bulk months before it’s up and edited, he’s not up every day to be at work at 6:00 a.m. or something. That’s not delaying any new music is what I’m trying to say.

Ha! A Little Bit of Blues is a tune I'm practicing myself nowadays. Incredibly tricky tune to play, and I've been having a go at it on and off for the last 25 years ha-ha Chet's version is so incredibly clean and smooth. (Maybe a little too smooth for my taste.)

Jerry Reed tunes are all like that. So much fun, but so tricky! I have never been able to play any of his songs perfectly, I just leave it to the man himself or Chet...

Well, a great final episode! I can't believe it's over, it was so much fun. 262 songs is not a lot by any means, especially that so many tracks are from the same albums.

But nevertheless, an incredible collection of songs, a brilliant collection of songs. Mark showed that his music taste is not just good, it's freaking PERFECT. No surprise he writes great songs himself.

I would kindly disagree, it was a pretty mild goodbye speech in my books, with a hint of returning. But who knows if the return will become a reality? It may never become a reality and Ep 24 finished with "Goodbye. For now" :wave

Thanks for the comfort, friends!  :)

I`m just listening to the latest episode and YES again it`s a very enjoyable one.
I will miss this weekly musical journey with Mark and hope that he will return in the near future.
