Dire Straits PR 2020

Hello

Lots and lots of Facebook posts and content almost every other day on the official Dire Straits page.

Does anyone get the feeling that there is groundwork going in to something here , thinking positively to build publicity prior to rereleases or box set?

Never seen this much output on Dire Straits before. Really good 👌 Hope something comes of it ...

Some time ago there was a possibility to invest in Dire Straits "shares". E.B. sold them, as far as I remember.
Perhaps it's just a bit of marketing to generate a return of investment?!

Yes I think you are right. Its probably more about creating royalties from the existing catalogue, especially when people are stuck at home

So it looks as though there is an upgrade planned for the MFN video , more info due 24/06. See the official Facebook page for info



Has anyone ever got any information from the mailing list yet ? I've been signed up since the Hall of Fame period but never ever had an email...

That's interesting, but I bet not as interesting as it may seem. What it may be? A 4K version? 4K version of a bad 80s animation? Or it may be a remake...
As history shows, you can't be too excited in MK's world, because the frustration when you realise what's this all about will be huge. So I guess... 4K :lol
