Exactly. This is probably not for me:)

It's just a gut reaction on the day, nobody is going to hold you to it :)

I know, but I don't like to be indifferent :)

My answer is Brothers İn Arms. İt's not like a DS album to me. Good songs, yes but it's too digital...

I voted Brothers in Arms first, but the actual trend in the answers shows that, On every Street will go down first, then Brothers will follow, then probably Communiqué, Making Movie, the show down will be between Dire Straits and Love over Gold. But I could be wrong.

The easiest poll on the planet, because On Every Street should've been Mark's debut solo record and it feels like it. So I voted On Every Street.

Let's wait and see, people will have to vote different ways once their choice is eliminated.

Same here. Great songs for most of the record but it sounds too digital indeed. But we won't blame them : it was REALLY the sound of the 80s.

I don't get what's the problem with digital. I'd understand if the whole album was so 80s like "One World", but the album is the opposite of the typical 80s... At least in the main tracks, there are real drums, no gated reverbs, and typical synths, and while it's digital, digital is only a recording method. No? Or you HEAR that it's digital? :think

You're right, I wonder about that too :think Brothers In Arms, my beloved album (not the only one):)  the first on CD

It is the most commercial one, so it's not a surprise to me.
