MK has anything to say ?

Guy said that "anything better than Ashley", that I agree (I've been following the magpies since Shearer joined them) and I think MK would agree with that.

Ben Knopfler is very happy, who is a Newcastle supporter.

Modern football = New owner with bottomless resources buys club, club becomes rich and able to buy anyone = buys league wine. This is why I have gone of football, money doesn't speak, it shouts!!! How lower league clubs are meant to compete fairly I will never know.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Wasn't there an article a while back where they were trying to change GH being played and being replaced?

I've been to St James Park once and unfortunately it was in a season where they dropped it (2007?). They played it at half time though.

I recognize listening to Going Home when players came to the pitch is weird, but nice at the same time.

I watched the game yesterday and they played Big River before the game and GH when the teams came out.

Ant and Dec were sitting in front of the new owner, necks on full show.

All they need now is Why Aye man, and it will be the Mark Knopfler/Jimmy Nail show.

With the money at their disposal now they can have Mark and Jimmy performing a gig at St James' Park!  Mark is always up for a corporate gig.  ;)

I'm sure all the glory hunters around the world that will start supporting Newcastle when they start to sign megastars will be excited to see a concert from two old geezers!

Yeah, I'm proud to be following Newcastle from the year Alan Shearer signed for them. I was a big fan of him, and I just loved the name of the team, as I grow up in a city with a famous castle in my region!

Alan Shesrer aye, was a Southampton legend long before he moved to Newcastle in 1996...Not that I follow Southampton FC even though it's only up the road. In fact its nearer a certain guitarists residence!!
