Walk of Life is a good shout. I can understand why Guy is so fed up of THAT keyboard/organ part but it is a feel good song.

But I also agree with Darling Pretty the poster , I wouldn't say that MK is really good in making happy songs. I'd have more songs for a "which MK songs make you feel depressed?" topic lol and my number one choice would probably be : Dream of the drowned submariner.

A really interesting question if you unpack it.

I don't suppose Mark does 'happy' music, but so many of his characters are happy despite their downtrodden positions in life. Like the itinerant worker or the hardworking farmer...

Songs that make me laugh - the more sarcastic stuff he's written. Things like millionaire blues I find amusing.

Happy songs- I suppose something like all that matters,  a sentiment all parents will identify with.....
