Absolutely, it’s such a well crafted album. I think it’s the only album where I feel the time spent paid off. With some of the others, I do feel a bit “I do like this album but can’t believe it took four months of Mark and Guy being in the studio before they even started the band sessions.”

I have seen some serious trolling in this forum over the years, but never quite seen something quite like this. Get Lucky goes from being the least voted album (along with STP) in every round and now gets eliminated against an album that was almost eliminated in the previous 2 rounds.
It's just a poll in a forum, nobody cares much, but there is certainly a comical element to these voting sessions.

Not really, that’s just the way it works when your favourite album is eliminated, you have to vote for something different.

Not really, that’s just the way it works when your favourite album is eliminated, you have to vote for something different.

It is actually a bit of fun at the end of the day - interesting nonetheless!!!

Interesting read here. I always thought, that "Get lucky" was his weakest album (although weak is not really a good adjective in connection with MK). But anyway, I always thought it that way. Apart from the songs, I especially see no convincing and/or interesting narrative, that goes along with the album. But I'm ready to give it a re-listen and think it over. Maybe some GL-fan on this forum could give me some more arguments, why GL is better than other MK-albums, I'm really curious.

I agree.  4 good songs on it out of 11 for me, Piper being a MK classic.  The bonus tracks are dreadful except for the forgettable Early Bird.
