'Rocks And Water' - recording from Local Hero theatre production
As a special offer to Mark’s mailing list subscribers, you can now listen to the track ‘Rocks And Water’, from the musical theatre adaptation of Local Hero.
Mark wrote the music for the original film released in 1983 and it has now been adapted for theatrical performances. The show ran for 12 weeks at Edinburgh’s Lyceum theatre in spring 2019, and received standing ovations and amazing reviews.
Local Hero was due to be performed in London at the Old Vic Theatre this summer, but has been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions. We’ll let you know as soon as the run has been rescheduled so you’ll have the chance to purchase tickets when it is safe to do so.
‘Rocks And Water' features Damian Humbley on lead vocals, and was recorded at British Grove Studio earlier this year with the following line up of musicians:
