New album from Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder after 50+ years

Taj and Ry played together and released an album back in the 60s as the band Rising Sons. Now they have re-united and record their versions of songs by blues duo Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. Joining them on percussion and bass is Ry's son Joachim.






I love the rootsy and unpolished production.

Album out in April.
