Christine McVie
« on: December 01, 2022, 08:42:53 AM »
I was so sad to hear this morning that Christine McVie has died aged 79.   "Songbird" was one of my favourite songs amongst so many others that she composed and sang.   RIP.

R.I.P Christine. Her voice was an integral part of the Fleetwood Mac sound since 1970 and she wrote a number of their classic songs.
Fleetwood Mac has survived the comings and goings of band members over the years (including Christine), but I wonder if they will have the will to "play on" now that she's gone & Lyndsay Buckingham has left the band. She will be sorely missed.

RIP. Didn't realise she was 79 though. All of our favourites are getting older.

Jerry Lee Lewis died recently aged 87. I would have never thought he was only 8 years older than Christine McVie, they just seem to be from completely different eras.

I think Guy recorded something for his last record if I remember well.
