Which track would you leave off the album?
« on: February 06, 2023, 09:28:27 AM »
As per the Shangri-La discussion, what would you leave off this album?

The obvious one is Do America (which in my view is just terrible), but UK fans never got that anyway. There's nothing else I would probably choose to remove, but perhaps The Last Laugh? Never been a big VM fan, and I don't think the album would be worse for not having it. But then it would have 12 tracks, which is a personal bugbear of mine, so I'd have to remove another track! So Who's Your Baby Now would go.

Very tricky one!

Would agree on Do America, but didn't we get it here in the UK? My CD always had it but now I can't remember if I bought an international version or something.

The Last Laugh is probably my least favourite after that but I still wouldn't want to lose it :)

Do America was exclusive to US and UK editions, while the US didn't had "One more matinee"

I would leave out probably "The Last Laugh", which is nice because it has Van Morrison but is the song I like the less.
You might get lucky, now and then
