Hi Love Expresso and all other BIA freaks.
I also dream of a special 40th anniversary set of BIA. It can be a box-set incl. the vinyls, cd, tape, various bonus vinyls or cds with unreleased or demo-material of the BIA ära, or the different versions of some songs, like extended, album, or single-mixes of some songs, a special booklet with the whole story about the BIA album, with all processes of creating the BIA album, like a dokumentary with informative texts and pictures, and, as the chream of the  coffee, some live recordings in best sound, on cd or on vinyl, complete in a big box. Or the whole thing seperated as a vinyl-only box and a cd-only box. Everything seems to be possible. I hope so.  8)

!But maybe I'm over-generalizing.

Sorry for being so blunt, but you did generalize. I understand your argument as a personal view of your personal experience with these recordings and your feelings about them. Unlike you, I'm very happy when I come across the recordings that the official DS and MK YouTube channel has made in rescuing various recordings with Snape 90, Dortmund 80, Paris 81, Chorus tv 78... With wonderful quality, this offers a new experience. For me, it has been very gratifying to appreciate and analyze these recordings again with this quality. The same thing happens to me with a magnificent work done by a big fan of DS and MK who has a YouTube channel and has made improvements to the audio recordings in memorable bootlegs, for me, they are definitive recordings, the more improvements in the quality and definition of the file, the better the experience.

For those who don't know it, I recommend it, it's incredible!

Oh well, if it is worth doing it, it is worth over doing it.  :wave
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Regarding recording of rehearsals: it could be useful material for a TV special/badn documentary (Arena 1980 does that in part). Surely, how a well-known band creates their live set would be interesting to not just hardcore fans of the band itself, but also people who are interested in music/live shows in general. And, it could inspire some younger musicians, too.

I have some "creative" ideas myself, and the first thing I thought was to use the process leading up to the (hypothetical) final product as some kind of educational/inspirational content. Like, "this is how I did it - now it's your turn".
