I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

funny, in the clip, the sig model looks like Dakota red... or maybe it's the cheap video color that makes this effect  :think

I was thinking the other day how bad news was not only that MK has no plans to record new songs, but also he's not doing any collaboration, which is rare as he used to do a lot in between records... And then this déjà vu appears.

stomping ground was an album indeed.
i am pretty sure this "new" thing is mainly to support a book he did where he talks about (some of) the songs on the (new) album, which is a compilation of older stuff and new stuff. at least that is what i understood from some german article that i stumbled upon
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Not necessarily. We cannot possibly be certain of anything. Let’s just have some patience and wait to see what happens (or doesn’t happen) over the next year or two.

We discussed it a lot recently.
I agree with some that thinks that MK quietly retired.
He says that he is practicing guitar for a new record. However, I think this is a half-true.
He is practcing because he likes it. Maybe some of his new songs (there is always new songs) would appear on another artist album or even another collab single.
According to GF, there is no collab on the radar.

He made a huge effort last year. Next couple of years, MK will be at 78. Maybe a farewell album...? I doubt it. I doubt about the Local Hero Musical as well.

Again, there is NOTHING wrong if Mark is retired. He did so much for us and he worked so hard. ODR is, In my opinion, is a nice farewell album.
