I was always curious if any of the current tenants knows that this place was where DS legend was born or if they care at all.
I'd love to be there with Mark and John on 3rd December.
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

huh dusty, you were at the o2 gig??
i thought it was crap afterwards.
they were not up to par.
got two vids and some 3 audio versions of that,...not good..

Were you actually there? The boots definitely don't do it justice. Not that surprising as they must have been super stealth, we were all searched on the way in.

Definitely one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I'm not a huge Zep fan but was lucky enough to be drawn for tickets. LZ were great and there was a whole other show before hand too with lots of great Atlantic artists. Also, there was a real sense of "occasion", getting to the 02, people begging for tickets, lots of TV news crews doing reports etc. Me and my pal Jamie went, drank lots of beer during the show and had a fantastic time. :)

Maybe the BBC news will cover the event.    Even 30 sec of broadcast would be a great pleasure to see.   Wow! To see a place memorialized because of your work is fantastic!
But a spoonful of forgiveness
Goes a long, long way
And we all should do our best
To get along

Maybe the "midgets" will make an appearance again.

We can meet in London and do a trip like that on sunday after breakfast. I will arrive in London saturday afternoon. Travelling from Bournemouth. Still have to book a hotel, but the marylebone doesn't have good prices till now  >:( So maybe I will choose another travelodge this time.

Hey Nigel THANK YOU for this news!

Whaauww it is really great that Mark and John will be together and un-veil a plaque! I also hope it will be mentioned in the news and that we all can watch also. Please Val, Nigel and all the other UK friends keep us informed when there is some news about that!

mmmmmmm if they are asking for people to attend I might go along (much to my wifes bemusement when I told her).  Trouble is I was only 1 at the time so may struggle to convince the PRS I attended there first gig.

Great idea, but sadly I'm one parent down and the other is into military marching bands. God help me!!
