Just grab some old person off the street and bribe them with Werther's Originals. Let's face it, they've got feck all else to do. They'll be pleased to get a nice day out.

I meant your parents could have taken you to the gig then. You can go on your own this time

Thanks, dusty!    You're a great diplomat.   I did do the 100 metre sprint to the front in Amsterdam too!   ;) and Mr Val and I climb 10,000 ft mountains every year in the Alps without the aid of lifts, etc, so I don't feel too geriatric just yet!   ;D

An important update with an actual image of the blue plaque, that is actually black!!!

Another link to the official site, that says that Dire Straits plaque is the second, the first one is dedicated to Blur

Thanks Julio for all the info.  I just wish I could be there tomorrow morning.  I hope there will be something about the event on TV or in the newspapers.   If anyone from here is going, PLEASE take some pictures, or even a video!   :)

BTW Julio, how did you get the blue plaque?  :)

Banjo99uk,  I hope you have a great time - try to take some pics, etc if possible.   I wish I was able to be there too, but I will be thinking about you all at 11.15am!   :)

ROFL Val, yeah you might be a bit older then most of the people here, but you have shown that you and Colin are still young in your heart and are an example for many of us here!  :-*

For the people who can go tomorrow, I wish you a great time and please don't forget to make a video or pictures! ;)

Btw When it will be in the news, which channel will probably broadcast it, any idea?
