Guy's Get Lucky Tour Diary
« on: March 06, 2010, 10:18:36 AM »

...is up and running from this morning!

However, the first entry reveals no surprises. But it is good to know that things are going to start slowly...

Mark furnished me with a the list of songs he wants the try a few weeks back and I dutifully prepared and sent out CD's (a mixture of live stuff from the last tour and studio recordings) to the rest of the band so they can learn and revise.

I'm very curious which songs are on that list...

Yes, the diaries are an integral part of the fun. Instead of just seing a show or 2 (or 10), it feels like we're are at every single one!

Is he just using copy and paste from the last tour diary 'cos he's going on about that 'Smurf-wax' stuff again! :lol

I'd rather say that's his very ritual... ;)

Kind of suggests the only songs we're getting that have been played live before are ones that were done on the last tour...

Guy said: The album has come and gone now but we're all very excited about the prospect of playing the new tunes

Hopefully , we can have song(s) from the last album.
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

Would prefer some turnover, pretty bored of a lot of the set now.

That's what I meant! If he ONLY plays SOME stuff from last tour and otherwise stuff NEVER PLAYED LIVE BEFORE...!  ;D

True, wouldn't mind some older stuff being played again though, like, say, Water of Love or maybe... Tunnel of Love?  ;)
