I hope he doesn't refer to Morbus with Dr. Morbius....
Hahaha
But it's well possible in the actual season, isn't it?

Today a new entry!

On the forum he posted this:

As most forum followers know, I don't reveal any of the setlist at this stage as there's absolutely no guarantee that any of the songs will make it to a show, however I feel I must concede we have been running SFFTC.

Thanks Isabella, Tunnel of love is not on the cards..no surprises there

Yes! Fantastic IF it will make it to the final list...

And I hope Border Reiver (as opener, must be!) and Piper to the End are also on the list.... :-*

The only thing about Border Reiver is that the fiddle and whistle are being played at the same time.  Now I know JMcC's good but... :lol

I bet they'll find a way out of that dilemma...
There was no pedal steel during the 2002 Charity shows either! ;)

Worst case they could keep Tim O'Brien or Michael McGoldrick to support John.
Having said that I notice that the setlist could indeed change after the US leg!!!  :-X

GL is Mark's strongest album since RPD so I hope that they will actually build the setlist around that album this time, like they did in the past with the new songs.

Piper, Clyde, RD and Gas&TV are all fine quiet songs and BR, Beat the House and Cleaning My Gun are more energetic. Working from that, and, as others have suggested, having Reiver in the beginning and Piper at the end should make a nice frame for the setlist. And maybe some oldies, goldies...

Guessing So far from the Clyde. I hate abbreviations too!
I would love to hear this song, and a lot from Get Lucky. Last time it didn't bother me too much not to have many songs from the latest album but this time, I'd be happy if they played Get Lucky from start to finish, twice, then finish with Going Home.

When I first heard Border Reiver on the album, I thought it would make a great opener to the set.

Cleaning my gun would also be a great opener.

I hope he doesn't spill any more beans.  :-\
