Yes, he did! He was the man who had a radio show and Mark and the band decided to put a demo tape between the milk bottles in front of his door.
Then they went back home and were relocating, when they were told that their songs were played at Charlie Gillett's radio show the whole afternoon.
So they got great promotion by this and the AR men of the record companies queued up. The rest is history. So Mr. Gillett was very important to DS.
On the first album, Charlie Gillett is credited (Thank you Charlie Gillett).
